DVL has pioneering eHealth products to support the aged and people with chronic diseases in their homes. The Intel-GE Care Innovations Heath Guide is a complete hardware and software solution to achieve massive decreases in health care costs, while improving patient services and allowing people the dignity of staying at home longer or discharging from hospital sooner. Trials have shown that aged care patients who were frequent visitors to hospital before the trial, were not admitted for 12 months the trial ran.
The Health Guide provides the hardware and software for the home. Patients take their own daily measurements for relevant tests such as weight, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, as well as the ability to have a video conference to a Clinical Nurse or Doctor.
The Intel Health Care Management Suite provides the tools to record the data for health professionals to review or trend. A care plan can map the measurements for the range in which they should be and alert the health professional for all out of range measurements. It also provides the professional’s end of the video conferencing.
The Intel Health Guide requires an Internet connection to enable communications with the patient's care team and back-end data hosting. The Intel Health Guide is intended for use by patients under the guidance of a healthcare professional and is not intended for emergency medical communications or real-time patient monitoring.
